The rains that have been continuing across the state for the past few days have caused extensive damage to flowers in the fields. As a result, vendors said that production has decreased due to the rotting of flowers in many places. As a result, the price of flowers has doubled due to the decrease in the arrival of flowers in the flower market in Thane. This price hike has taken place on the eve of Ganeshotsav and the price of Shevanti is being sold at INR 400 per kg, while roses are being sold at INR 600 per kg. The prices of other flowers have also doubled.
