Ganesh ground in Bimbisar Nagar in shambles

Goregaon – Ganesh Maidan in Bimbisar Nagar in Goregaon East is facing neglect from the municipal corporation. The toilet, water tank and toys for children were installed here from the local development fund of the MLA. All these installations are now in shambles besides unclean and unhygienic atmosphere prevailing there. There is also a menace of drug addicts here. Local residents are raising questions about inconvenience being caused to senior citizens and children from over 30 societies in Bimbisar Nagar. Meanwhile, BMC officer Sachin Parkar said that the ground is currently under MHADA and the civic body will beautify it when it will be handed it over to the BMC.
