BMC R/Central Ward sealed the Gokul Shopping Centre on SV road, Borivali for not paying assessment tax. The shopping centre owes the civic body Rs 73 lakhs.
On 14 April, commuters saw that the main gate is sealed but activities were seen at the backside of the shopping centre. The rear side gate was open and shopkeepers irrespective of anything were continuing their business.
Watchman informed that the lock of the shopping centre was broken. R/Central ward was contacted on the landline no - 28946000 but didn’t get any reply.
