Ahead of self-made dancer Sapna Chaudhary’s visit to Mumbai on November 8, certain people including activists and journalists are opposing her visit and the event. Chaudhary is supposed to perform at Ram Leela Maidan in Malad. However, the police are yet to provide approval for the event and the people have objected against the same.
While talking to a newspaper, Purvanchal Vikas Pratishthan Secretary and Senior Journalist Om Prakash said, “We condemn the vulgarity which is spread by Sapna Chaudhary’s events and performances. Her events create a wrong impression of Hindi-speaking society and lead to sexual assaults on women.”

However, the organiser of the event Munna Singh and Vikas Gupta said that they don’t support any kind of event which promotes vulgarity. “We are organising a cultural programme but without any reason, this issue is being raised,” informed Singh.
