Lower Parel - The municipal corporation's G/South ward initiated a demolition drive on unauthorised stalls and construction works on Tuesday on Sitaram Jadhav Marg near Lower Parel station.
Commuters say they are facing a tough time because of the big set up of cranes and civic workers engaged in the demolition drive. Finally, the demolition drive was concluded with the help of N.M. Joshi police station officers.
Various stalls were demolished during the drive. These included Chinese food stalls, a mobile repair centre, and several tea stalls. Resident Santosh Raut told Mumbai Live," People are happy with this drive as these unauthorised stalls were a huge concern."
