Jogeshwari- Stalled Indira Nagar slum redevelopment plan has got a green signal. This was done by state housing minister Ravindra Waikar who berate the builder and asked Slum Redevelopment authority to appoint a new builder.   

 Indira Nagar slum has 987 slum dwellers. Out of which, 872 residents are valid for the redevelopment plan. Accordingly, the builder constructed two buildings which have 377 homes. These homes have got OCs as well. However, these buildings are of poor quality and no basic facilities were given. And so the builder was ousted and the new builder has been appointed. According to the new policy, residents will get 269 sq feet homes.
