As per reports, on Sunday, December 27, a massive fire broke out inside a temple in Kandivali, Mumbai, in the wee hours claiming the lives of two people, injuring one.

According to the preliminary information, the incident took place in a Sai Baba temple at Bandar Pakhadi Road in the Charkop area. Moreover, the fire was reported at 4.14 AM and was doused by the Mumbai Fire Brigade by 4.39 am, according to sources.

Meanwhile, the deceased have been identified as Subhash Khode and Yuvaraj Pawar, both aged 25. They were both declared dead on arrival by the hospital. On the other hand, Mannu Radheshyam Gupta, who was rescued by the Fire Brigade has now been shifted to Sion hospital for further treatment after receiving initial care at the Shatabdi Hospital.
