On Saturday morning, a fear spread in Mulund’s Nanepada area when a leopard entered a building and took shelter in a basement.

While doing so, the leopard attacked and injured six people who have been admitted to Veer Savarkar and Lokmanya Tilak hospital.

Post the leopard attack, the forest department officials took six hours to take the leopard into custody. The leopard who was sitting near the basement was first sedated and then he was put in a cage.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Kirit Somaiya has shared the video of the same on his Twitter handle.

This is not the first time when a leopard has entered a building. A similar case happened in Aarey colony where a leopard attacked small children.
