It has been eight days in the new year, and sadly they have been scary for many, as the city has witnessed fire incidents almost every day.

Another massive fire broke out today morning at around 7:00 AM, at Mumbai Session Court premises. MFB declared it to be a Level-II fire, which broke out on the third floor of the building. Five fire engines and four jumbo water tank at the location reach the location to extinguish the fire. No casualties have been reported. The reason for the fire incident is unknown.

Two days back, a major fire broke out at the Cinevistas sets on LBS marg, in Kanjurmarg, where the upcoming Colors TV show, Bepannah was being shot. One audio assistant from the crew lost his life. A day back two fire incidents were reported – one at Lower Parel and the other at Ghatkopar – and no one lost their lives.

Ever since the Kamala mills tragedy, the city has been on high alert and reporting fire cases, eventually raising more questions on if we follow the fire safety rules, and if the officials are performing responsibilities as per guidelines.
