Water supply to Dahisar area from Kandivali will be under low pressure on Tuesday. As such, the residents of this area may have to face shortage of water on Tuesday. Water supply in Dahisar will be affected more. Along with this, it is also feared that there will be muddy water for the next two days.
Structural inspection of Borivali Hill Reservoir No. 2 in Sanjay Gandhi National Sanctuary at Borivali (East) will be conducted on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm (total eight hours). During this work, Borivali Hill Reservoir No. 2 will be emptied.

Therefore, water supply in R/South, R/Central and R/North divisions of the municipality i.e. Kandivali, Borivali and Dahisar will be affected. The water is likely to remain cloudy for the next two days, so the municipality has appealed to the citizens to filter and boil the water before drinking it.
