The state-level online mega-employment fair held on December 12 and 13 by the Department of Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship of the Maharashtra Government has been extended till December 20, 2020, as it has garnered positive response from the candidates, Maharashtra Skill Development Minister Nawab Malik has informed.
Malik urged unemployed youth and entrepreneurs in the state should take advantage of this.
He also stated that this is a golden opportunity for job-seeking candidates, who are 9th pass to 10th, 12th in the state to the candidates with ITI, Diploma, BE and other professional educational qualifications. Various eminent industries and businesses have also been invited to participate in the fair with their vacancies.
So far, prominent entrepreneurs, who have registered are Premier Seals, Marley Madrasan Auto, Vodafone India Services, Mahindra Steel Service Center, LG Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Higher Appliances, Mahindra CIE Automotive Ltd., Minda Corporation Ltd., Rup Polymers, BNY Melon (BPO), MasterCard Mobile Transaction Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Adwick High-Tech, UKB Electronics, Radhey Machinery, Eureka Forbes, Force Motors, Waika Instruments, Williams Controls, Jayhind Siyaki. Other reputed companies like Kinetic Communications, MQR Pharmaceuticals etc. from Pune district and various private companies from all districts of Maharashtra have registered with various vacancies.
This meet is being held only for the candidates who have registered their preferences online. Therefore, aspiring candidates from all the districts of the state should visit the website of the department to avail this opportunity.
How to Apply Online
To participate in the job fair, job seekers should register on the web portal https://rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in with mobile number, email ID and Aadhar number. Candidates who have already registered should update their information. Besides, the private and public sector entrepreneurs, corporates who are looking for skilled candidates should register on this web portal so that the manpower they need is easily available through it.
After registering, log in based on your user ID and password from the Job Seekar login on the homepage. Then by clicking on the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Job Fair button in the dashboard, first select the district where you want to apply and select STATE LEVEL MEGA JOB FAIR. Later, by clicking at the View Vacancy List, number of vacancies will appear and you can apply accordingly. Before applying make sure that you have the required qualifications.
The candidates will be informed about the details of their interview through SMS, telephonic call or e-mail. Online interviews would be conducted through WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom etc.
Nawab Mailk said that efforts are being made by the department to provide employment to all the candidates who have applied.
