The state government on Tuesday, July 13, made major changes in the administration. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has transferred 20 IAS officers.
Those transferred include, Principal Secretary, Department of Higher and Technical Education, Ministry P. Gupta to the post of Principal Secretary, Finance. Also, District Collectors of Kolhapur, Hingoli, Akola, Parbhani and Jalna have been transferred.
The government has transferred OP Gupta Principal Secretary, Higher & Technical Education Department as Principal Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department.

Vikas Chandra Rastogi, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Higher and Technical Education Department in the Ministry.
Indra Malo, Commissioner, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Navi Mumbai, has been appointed Principal Secretary, General Administration Department. Ajit Patil, Joint Secretary, General Administration, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Mumbai MIDC.
Kolhapur District Collector Daulat Desai has been made Joint Secretary in the Department of Medical Education and Medicine in Mumbai.
Ruchesh Jayavanshi has been transferred to the post of Women and Child Welfare Commissioner in Pune and Sanjay Yadav has been appointed as the Joint Managing Director of Mumbai MIDC.
Amravati District Collector Shailesh Nawal has been transferred to the post of Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department, and Ministry. Shelesh Nawal been posted as Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department.
RH Thakare has been posted as Additional Tribal Commissioner, Nagpur, while JS Papalkar Collector, Akola will be the new Municipal Commissioner, Akola Municipal Corporation.
GM Bodke is transferred as District Collector of Hingoli and Rahul Ashok Rekhawar has been appointed as District Collector of Kolhapur. Jalna District Collector Ravindra Binwade has been posted as Additional Commissioner in Pune Municipal Corporation.
Deepak Kumar Meena has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Pavneet Kaur as Collector of Amravati, Vijay Chandrakant Rathod as Collector of Jalna, Neema Arora as Collector of Akola, Aanchal Goyal as Collector of Parbhani and BN Patil has been posted as the District Collector of Ratnagiri.
