The state government who make statements about how India and Maharashtra are turning into "Digital India" and "Digital Maharashtra" is itself not updated. Websites created by the Government of Maharashtra and its various departments aims to reach out to the people with information of various sections of government, information, rules, and regulations. But the governor complained that the government officials have not updated the latest information on their website.

No updated information on the website

The circular issued by the Maharashtra governor stated that the website of Maharashtra government is not updated. Also, many notices, government decisions, circulars issued by the government have not been uploaded to this website. In this regard, in July 2017, the circular was issued to notify to all the government departments. However, the situation on this website has been found to be similar.

Therefore, taking the circular into consideration, all the departments of the government have been ordered to upload all decisions and information on their respective webs.
