Expressing the opinion that not only high rise buildings are the means of development, but providing the quality facilities required by the citizens is real development, said the Chief Minister of Maharashtra State Eknath Shinde. He is of the opinion that his government will provide full support for the faster development of Navi Mumbai.
On behalf of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, the inauguration ceremony of the renovation of Wonders Park at Sector 19 Nerul, the inauguration ceremony of the state-of-the-art tertiary treatment plants at Koparkhairane and Airoli, the inauguration ceremony of the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Smruti Bhavan multi-purpose building at Sector 3 Vashi and the groundbreaking ceremony of the Central Library at Sector 11 Sanpada was carried out by CM Eknath Shinde.

While the inauguration and Bhoomipujan of various projects worth INR 237 crores for the people of Navi Mumbai are being completed through these 4 public utility facilities, Shinde expressed satisfaction that the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is thinking of the common citizen while developing the city.
The chief minister expressed his opinion that the adoption of modernity by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is beneficial for the citizens and the environment as well, praising the fact that the modern facility like the tertiary treatment plant is being started, not only the issue of sewage is being solved, but also drinking water is being saved.
