Mumbai – The Metro work has created obstacles in the way of Mumbai Marathon as Metro construction work is underway on the Azad Maidan, Hinduja, and Siddhivinayak temple areas. This has forced the organisers to change the roads of this marathon. The new road for this marathon will be the Churchgate-Flora Fountain- Azad maidan road. Some of the gates have also been changed but no change has been done in the senior citizens' marathon category. The work for the Metro station in Azad Maidan has been started. The marathon participants are provided refreshments at this spot. Accordingly, the organisers have taken efforts to provide all the necessary facilities.
