MCGM to erect sign boards at 190 spots

Mumbai – The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has come forward to make it easy for visitors and tourists wishing to travel across the city. The civic body has decided to erect sign boards at 190 spots showing the directions. These sign boards will be erected on roads in the next three months, informed chief engineer (roads and traffic) Sanjay Darade.

The sign boards will be as per the standards of the Indian Road Congress: - 100 sign boards will be of 4.5 meters wide and 1.8 meters long placed on 7.8 meters high poles.
- 90 sign boards will be of 1.2 meters wide and 1.8 meters long placed on 3.9 meters high poles.
- Text and colours on these sign boards will be as such that it can be read from a long distance

- Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road (Worli Sea Face Road)
- Senapati Bapat Marg
- Swami Vivekanand Marg
- Vasudev Balwant Phadke Chowk (Metro Cinema)
- Haji Ali Junction
- Maharana Pratap Junction
- Labour Hospital Junction
- N S Phadke Marg
- Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg
