Mobile network connectivity has been fully restored across the entire Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line), bringing relief to thousands of daily commuters who had been facing communication disruptions while travelling through the underground corridor.
With the restoration, passengers can now make voice calls, access mobile internet, and use digital payment services such as UPI throughout the metro route, including inside underground tunnels.
The network outage had persisted for several months due to issues related to telecom infrastructure and contractual disputes, causing inconvenience to commuters who were unable to stay connected during their journeys.
Authorities have now completed the necessary telecom infrastructure work, enabling major service providers to resume uninterrupted mobile connectivity along the full stretch of the metro line.
The restoration is expected to significantly improve the overall commuter experience by ensuring seamless communication and internet access across Mumbai Metro Line 3.
