From August 1, there will be a high tide in the sea for six consecutive days. At this time, more than fifty meters high waves are going to hit the beach. So the biggest tide in the sea during this monsoon will come on Thursday and Friday. Mumbaikars will have to be careful if it rains in the meantime.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the tide schedule for the coming monsoon and the sea will experience high tide for eight days in the month of August. Six of those days will come next week. There will be a high tide every day from Tuesday, August 1 to Sunday, August 6.

Surrounded by the sea on all sides, Mumbai is prone to high tides during monsoons. During the rainy season, when the sea is rough, waves of more than 55 meters are raised and at the same time heavy rain falls, the water does not drain naturally. On the other hand, tidal water enters the city through rain channels. Due to this, water accumulates in the low-lying areas.
