Mumbai residents can now use the "One Ticket" app to book tickets for currently operational metro routes. The app allows passengers to purchase tickets for multiple metro lines at once, making travel simpler and smarter.

Currently, four metro corridors are operational in Mumbai and its suburbs. With this app, passengers can now travel across all four metro lines using a single ticket.

According to Mumbai Metro One, the app was initially launched as a pilot project in June 2025 for Metro Line 3, and it received an overwhelmingly positive response, leading to the development of this enhanced and expanded version.

Operational Mumbai Metro Lines (One Ticket for Four Metro Lines):

  1. Ghatkopar–Andheri–Versova (Metro Line 1)

  2. Dahisar–Andheri West (Metro Line 2A)

  3. Dahisar–Gundavali (Metro Line 7)

  4. Aarey–Acharya Atre Chowk (Likely part of Metro Line 3)

These four metro corridors are currently active in Mumbai and surrounding suburbs. To make ticketing easier for commuters, MMOCL (Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd) along with MSOCL, and in collaboration with SwiggleString, launched the 'One Ticket' app, which runs on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

App Availability & Usage

  • Commuters can download the app from the Play Store.

  • The app is very user-friendly.

  • Importantly, different routes are not divided into separate sections.

This means if a passenger wants to travel from Dahisar East Metro Station to Worli, they do not need to buy three separate tickets for three lines. You can simply select the start and end stations, and the app will generate a single ticket.

For example:

  • If you select Dahisar East Metro to Worli Metro as your route, the total fare will be INR 100.

  • You can pay via card, net banking, or UPI.

Sample Ticket Fares (Individual Segments)

  • Dahisar (East) to Gundavali – INR 30

  • Western Express Highway to Marol Naka – INR 20

  • Marol Naka to Worli – INR 50

Although you can buy all three tickets at once through the One Ticket app, no fare discounts are currently being offered. That is, even if you book a combined journey across multiple corridors, the fare will be the same as the sum of individual tickets.
