The road outside the Magathane Metro station on the 'Dahisar-Gundavali Metro 7' route sinked and it has become dangerous to travel on this road. As a result, the Greater Mumbai Metro Transit Corporation (MMMOCL) has closed the northern entrance for security reasons. It is likely to cause inconvenience to the passengers.
On the road outside Magathane metro station on the 'Metro 7' route, the project work of private developers is going on. The developer has done extensive excavation for this work. During this work, the road was recently damaged. The Mumbai Municipal Corporation immediately closed the busy road for traffic. Also, MMMOCL was instructed to close the northern entrance of Magathane metro station near this road for security reasons. Accordingly, the northern entrance of Magathane metro station was closed on Tuesday. MMMOCL gave this information through Twitter.
As the northern entrance has been closed, passengers will now have to use other alternative entrances. Due to this, passengers are likely to experience some inconvenience. Meanwhile, this entrance will remain closed until the Municipal Corporation restores this road.
