With the onset of Mumbai rains, the accidents and waterlogging incidents have already started pouring in. Sadly, 3 people in Mumbai have died due to electrocution on Friday. A 60-year old woman died in Andheri East and 2 people succumbed to electrocution in Goregaon East.

There has been a delay in train schedules and Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) buses have changed their original routes owning to excess waterlogging. Milan Subway in Andheri is shut due to the same reason. On June 28, a Malaysian woman was stuck due to waterlogging in the subway and was rescued by people. 

On Kanjurmarg and Thane railway station, the water covered the rail lines which, in turn, disrupted the rail services. Due to this, Central Railway and Western Railway cancelled 21 and 12 services respectively.
