For the convenience of passengers going from Mumbai to Konkan and Goa, the Mumbai-Goa Highway, which has been stalled for many years, will be completed by September 2024. At the same time, work is underway to prepare a detailed project plan for the Greenfield Corridor, the second road leading to Sindhudurga and further to Goa. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that this will provide a direct road to the travelers of Konkan.


Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Kalyan-Dombivli on March 3. During his visit, Bhoomi Pujan of the Cancer Hospital was performed by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. On this occasion, Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of various development works in Dombivali was also done online by the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with Thane district guardian minister Shambhuraj Desai, Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan, MLA Ravindra Phatak and other leaders were present at the function.

How will the hospital be equipped?

For the construction of a cancer hospital, MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde was chasing the state government. Minister Ravindra Chavan was also trying to build this hospital. After the monitoring of both the public representatives, a cancer hospital will soon be established in Thane district. The new cancer hospital will have 8 floors. Also this hospital will have 150 beds. Of these, 100 beds will be for cancer patients. 50 beds have been reserved for the maternity hospital. All maternity services will be available free of cost in this hospital.
