The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a 12-hour complete water cut in M-East ward (Deonar, Shakti Nagar, Mankhurd and Govandi) and M-West ward (Chembur, Tilak Nagar) on Thursday, June 13.
This decision comes as the civic body will carry out works on the water pipeline to improve water supply to areas such as BD Patil marg, Gawanpada, HPCL refinery and other areas, which receive low pressure supply.
These areas to face water cut in M-East ward:
Lakshmi Vasahat, Rane Chal, Nityanand Bagh, Tolaram Vasahat, Shriram Nagar, JJ Wadi, Sheth Heights, Dongre Park, Tata Colony, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) Colony, etc.
These areas to face water cut in M-West ward:
Mahulgaon, Ambapada, Jijamata Nagar, Vashi Naka, Mysore Colony, Khadi Machine, Ramkrishna Chemburkar (RC) Marg, Sindhi Colony, Laldongar, Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar, Navjeevan Society, Old Barracks and Chembur Cantonment.
