Due to its dilapidated condition, the Nanepada drain bridge on SL Road, Mulund West has been closed for traffic and pedestrians starting Friday, January 31, 2025. The decision to reconstruct the bridge was taken as it posed a risk of collapse despite previous repairs to its footpath and supporting structures.
To minimise inconvenience, the traffic police have suggested alternative routes:
Motorists traveling to VP Marg should use JN Marg instead.
Those heading towards Goshala Marg via VP Marg should take a right turn from JN Marg to reach their destination.

These traffic diversions will remain in effect until April 15, 2026, as per an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Chavan.
