Narendra Modi's Mumbai Visit To Impact Vehicular Movement; Get Details Here

On Monday, June 13, the Mumbai traffic police took to Twitter to share that considering the VVIP movement on Tuesday, June 14, traffic arrangements have been made for security reasons. They have urged Mumbaikars to undertake alternative routes and regret the inconvenience caused. 

With Prime Minister, Narendra Modi slated to visit the city on Tuesday to attend the Mumbai Samachar Dwishatabdi program in BKC, considering the security of his traffic movement on the adjoining roads that led to the location has been diverted to make requisite arrangements. 

The note highlights that the below-given roads will be closed for vehicular movement on Tuesday between 4 pm and 8 pm on a temporary basis. 

• No entry to any kind of vehicle through the BKC Connector, MCA Ground Close Gate No 3, ONGC Building Chowk towards Jio World Centre, American Consulate, Trident Hotel and towards Kurla through the MTNL Junction.
• No entry to any kind of vehicle through Kurla Razzak Junction, MTNL Junction, Platina Junction, Trident Junction towards BKC Connector and Jio World Centre.

The Mumbai traffic police have, however, recommended alternative roads that can be used instead. These include:

• Vehicles through MCA Ground Close Gate 3, ONGC Building Chowk, Trident Hotel, Sofitel and American Consulate need to take a right turn from the ONGC building and go through the Videsh Bhavan, Ambani School parking and Tata communication building and MTNL junction to Kurla. 
• Vehicles through MCA Ground Close Gate 3, ONGC Building Chowk, through the American Consulate to the Jio World Centre need to take a right from the American School and go towards Sofitel and Trident Hotel. 
• Vehicles through Kurla Razzak Junction, MTNL Junction, Platina Junction, Signeture Sunteck, Jio World Centre to BKC Connector need to take a right at American School, Ambani School parking and then take a left from ONGC Building to go to the BKC Connector and NSC Junction.
