The Navi Mumbai municipal corporation too is facing a crisis of water shortage at this time. As per the order of the Government of Maharashtra, due to prolonged rains and less rainfall, the NMMC has planned to make proper planning regarding water supply and has planned not to supply water in the evening for one day in a week.


Therefore, the municipal administration has informed that this water reduction and water supply planning will be implemented from Friday. Due to low rainfall recorded in the dam area this year, Morbe Dam was not fully filled.

Day by day the consumption of water in Navi Mumbai city is also increasing and as the dam is not fully filled, only 39.36 percent of water is left at this time and only enough water is available in Morbe Dam till August 9. Therefore, there will be water cut in Navi Mumbai city and water cut will be done from Friday itself.


There will be no water supply in the evening on this day

  • Monday- Belapur
  • Tuesday- Koparkhairane
  • Wednesday- Ghansoli
  • Thursday- Vashi
  • Friday- Airoli
  • Saturday- Nerul
  • Sunday - Turbe
