The death of an uncle and a nephew living in Sukapur took place on Wednesday evening after they slipped on the Adai waterfall. Pradeep Kami (aged 7 years) and maternal nephew Paras Baki (aged 35 years) died in this incident. Despite the police prohibiting people from going to the falls, the Baki and Kami families living in Sukapur village went to the falls on Wednesday afternoon. In this, Pradeep went to the top of the waterfall at Suruvati, but when he realised that he was trapped, his uncle Paras went to save him. But both lost their feet and fell down.

Senior Police Inspector Chandrakant Landge informed that with the help of police, villagers and firemen, they were pulled out in an injured condition late at night. However, the uncle died before receiving the medical treatment.
