A 25-year-old air hostess has allegedly been sexually assaulted by a man who posed as a transgender person and claimed he could cure her husband, according to a police complaint.
According to the complaint, the accused approached the woman and allegedly claimed to have the ability to treat her husband’s health problems. He reportedly gained her trust by offering a solution to her husband’s condition and subsequently allegedly sexually assaulted her under the pretext of treatment.
The woman later approached the police and reported the incident. Following her complaint, police began investigating the allegations and traced the accused.
Police are examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault, including the accused’s claims about his identity and his purported ability to cure the woman’s husband. The incident has also highlighted concerns over individuals exploiting people by making false claims of supernatural or healing powers.
Police are continuing their investigation, and further details are expected as evidence is gathered and statements are recorded. The allegations are subject to investigation, and the accused is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
