NHAI launches HighwayYatra app to make travel safer - Check Features Here

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced a significant step towards enriching the highway user experience with the launch of the HighwayYatra mobile application.

According to an official statement by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, this user-centric app represents a remarkable leap forward in providing comprehensive information about Indian National Highways to commuters along with an effective mechanism for redressal of complaints. The app is currently available in both Hindi and English languages and can be downloaded from Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

The Rajmargyatra mobile application includes a number of important features aimed at facilitating more seamless highway travel. Acting as a centralized hub, the app provides vital information for National Highway users.

The enhancements offered by the HighwayYatra app are designed to establish a user-friendly and streamlined experience for highway users.

• Timely broadcast notifications for over-speeding
• Voice guidance
• Details about nearby toll plazas
• Nearby Fuel stations, medical facilities, accommodation and other essential services, thereby ensuring a safe and seamless travel on national highways.
• Comprehensive grievance redressal and escalation system. Users can easily report highway related issues with geo-tagged videos or images for added clarity. Registered complaints will be attended to immediately, in case of delay automatically the complaint will be escalated to higher authorities.
• It empowers users to track the progress of their complaints to ensure transparency.
• HighwayYatra has seamlessly merged its offerings with various banking portals, thereby simplifying operations like FASTag recharge, availing monthly pass and other banking services.
