No bite to this demolition drive

Lower Parel- The Anti Encroachment department of the G south ward razed illegal stalls on 20 December on Lower Parel’s Seetaram Jadhav road. However, despite the demolition, illegal stalls have come up on the street again, say angry residents who are angry with the BMC and its action. Meanwhile, MNS deputy president Amol Desai of ward no 194 is alleging that the ruling party’s corporator is involved in setting up the illegal stalls. “BMC only fakes the demolition. How come the stalls come up so soon after the demolition drive? I am sure the ruling party’s corporator is backing these illegal shops,” alleged Desai.
