There will be a water cut in the parts of Mumbai on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. This will be owing to repair works of a 900 mm diameter water valve at Powai and will result in a 12-hour water cut and low pressure supply in parts of Mumbai on March 23, 2021.
According to reports, work is going on the repairs of a 900 mm sluice valve on the Tansa (east) mainline inlet at Anchor Block Powai.
As a result, there will be a 12-hour water cut in some parts of Bhandup (S ward). Meanwhile, residents of Dharavi will receive a low-pressure water supply.
The water will get affected by 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. The BMC has requested the citizens of these areas to store enough water and use water judiciously.
Owing to repair works of a 900 mm. diameter water valve at Powai, residents of Dharavi will receive low pressure water supply on March 23, 2021 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

In some parts of Dharavi, the water supply would be cut off for 5 hours. Water supply to Andheri and Dharavi will be cut off for at least 5 to 8 hours.
There will be no water supply for 12 hours from 10 am to 10 pm in Jaibhim Nagar, Sahyadri Nagar, and Filter Pada area in Bhandup.
Low-pressure water supply in parts of Bandra, Andheri, Seepz, Dadar, Mahim
Kabir Nagar, Bamanpada, Parshiwadi, Tarun Bharat Vasahat, Islam Pura, Airport Area, Deul Wadi, P&T Colony will have low-pressure water supply from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. Mulgaon Dongri, MIDC Road 1-23, Yashwant Nagar, Bhavani Nagar, Durga Pada areas will have low water supply from 11 am to 2 pm.
DP Road, Mahakali Nagar, Baman Dayapada, Income Tax Colony will have a low-pressure water supply from 6 am to 2 pm.
Other areas that will have low-pressure supply are -- Chakala, Prakashwadi, Govind Wadi, Malpa Dongri, Hanuman Nagar, Mata Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Shahid Bhagat Singh Colony, Charat Singh Colony, Mukund Hospital, Lelewadi, Indira Nagar, Mapkhan Nagar, Takpada, Mapkhan Nagar, Airport Road at Andheri (East), Chimatpada, Sag Bagh, Marol Industrial Estate, Ramkrishna Mandir Road, JB Nagar, Bagarkha Road, Kantinagar.
Water supply will be cut off from 6 pm to 10 pm in Vijay Nagar, Military Marg, Vasant Oasis, Gavdevi, Marol Gaon, Church Marg, Dil Weave Society, Kadam Wadi.
Water supply cut off for 5 hours in some parts of Dharavi
Prem Nagar, Naik Nagar, Dharavi Loop Road will have a low-pressure water supply from 4 am to 12 noon. Similarly, no water supply at Dharavi Main Road, Ganesh Mandir Marg, AKG Nagar, Dilip Kadam Marg, Kumbhar Wada, Sant Gorakumbhar Marg for 5 hours from 4 pm to 9 pm.
