Homeowners who have bought houses in CIDCO estates are currently facing a flood like situation due to heavy monsoon rains. Along with this, these house owners will have to face a water crisis as water supply will be stopped from Wednesday morning till Thursday morning.
The CIDCO board has advised the citizens to use water sparingly in Kalamboli, Kalundre, Karanjade and New Panvel settlements from Wednesday to Thursday.
Water is supplied to the CIDCO colonies after the CIDCO board receives water from the Maharashtra Life Authority (MJP). CIDCO board in its appeal to the citizens from the website has also informed that water supply will not be available due to the repair work at Bhokarpada Water Purification Centre as well as repair work at Wayal.
