Kandivali- V Mall in Thakur complex has been sealed by the officials of the Tehsildar office for not paying the outstanding Non Agricultural tax for 5 years. A time of 10 days are given to pay the tax.
According to the sources, 50 per cent portion of the mall is being grabbed by the Veena Developers. NA tax was pending for the last 5 years for which officials from the Tehsil officials reached at MV mall to take action.
A Shop owner in the MV mall, Arvind Gupta said that tax amounting Rs 12 lakh was outstanding but the official were imposing more tax, due to which tax was unpaid and now after action taken by the Tehsildar office, the mall owner agreed to pay the tax.
