Now click BMC HQ, CST bldg fearlessly from ‘Darshani Gallery’

Mumbai – The BMC has now opened its gallery for the tourists visiting the civic body headquarters and the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. A ‘Darshan Gallery’ specially erected to take a snap of these historical buildings was dedicated to the public by Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar in presence of Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray. Now, anyone can click the photographs from this gallery without worrying about anything.

The brain behind this gallery is Aditya Thackeray. The concept of Darshani Gallery is being implemented under the leadership of A ward’s assistant municipal commissionier Kiran Dighawkar.
Addressing the media on this occasion, Aditya Thackeray said that this is not a selfie point but a gallery specifically built for the tourists so that they can conveniently click photographs of these historical buildings.

Thackeray appreciated the BMC administration and staff for giving a concrete shape to this gallery in a very short span of time.

State environment minister Ramdas Kadam, local MLA Raj Purohit, deputy mayor Hemangi Worlikar, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta, leader of the BMC house Yashwant Jadhav, standing committee chairman Ramesh Korgaonkar, former mayors Shraddha Jadhav and Snehal Ambekar, chairpersons of different civic committees, corporators, BMC officers and others were present on this occasion.
