Ola, Uber and other cab pick-up points at CSMIA moved from P7 to P4

A statement regarding the same was issued by the authorities and signages will be changed at the airport to notify the passengers from Tuesday, September 28, 2021, as this will also avoid further confusion at the premises.

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has seen a significant increase in the number of passengers and observing the same, the authorities have decided to set up new designated spot for cabs which arrive at the location to pick up passengers. The decision to move the pick up spot will be effective from Tuesday, September 28, 2021, whereby  passengers can now board the cab from P4 are of the parking lot. Earlier this was located at the P7 area of Terminal 2. 

This location will be accessible for black and yellow (kaali peeli), Ola, Uber and other cab services. 

Officials informed that the decision was taken after thorough consideration as the airport has witnessed a steady increase in passengers over the last few months and this decision will help the passengers arriving at CSMIA to exit from the airport premises, at ease, in a shorter time.

A statement was released regarding the same which also said that the CSMIA has made necessary arrangements to inform passengers of this change for a convenient transit. 

Signages will be changed at the airport to notify the passengers from Tuesday and this will also avoid further confusion at the premises. Besides this, other facilities at the airport like the AC waiting lounge, dedicated fast lanes and high-speed internet has been providing comfort to the passengers arriving at CSMIA.

Cab drivers and aggregators have also been given strict protocols (SOPs) and mandatory guidelines which will have to be followed at all times by drivers operating to and from the airport.
