Convocation Ceremony: Honoring Academic Achievements
The Convocation Ceremony for the 144th NDA course was recently held at the esteemed Habibullah Hall within the academy. Professor (Dr) Himanshu Rai, Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, graced the event as the Chief Guest. During this ceremony, a total of 386 cadets were conferred degrees by Jawaharlal Nehru University, recognizing their academic accomplishments and specialized fields of study.

Diverse Specializations: Cadets Excel in Various Streams
The conferred degrees included 81 cadets in the Science stream, 90 cadets in Computer Science, and 59 cadets in the Arts. The recognition of these diverse specializations highlights the comprehensive education and training provided by the NDA, ensuring a well-rounded development of the cadets. Additionally, 19 cadets from friendly foreign countries were honored with degrees, showcasing the NDA's international stature.
B Tech Stream and Future Training Prospects
The B Tech stream, consisting of 137 Navy and Air Force cadets, received a 'three years course completion' certificate. These cadets will continue their training at their respective pre-commissioning training academies, namely the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala and the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. Upon completion of the additional year of training, they will be granted their degrees, further solidifying their expertise in their chosen fields.
