Powai witnessed a blaze of fire on Wednesday, July 1, in the early hours. A level two fire was reported in a commercial building named Delphi which is nestled in the Powai area of the city Mumbai.

Around four fire engines, one foam tender and four jumbo tank were rushed to the spot immediately. According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, currently, three small fire engines and five fire motor pumps have been made operational in order to douse the fire. According to sources, the fire was reported at 6.16 am and was doused by 8.15 am. No injuries have been reported due to the incident.

Moreover, the Mumbai Fire Brigade has stated that the operation has been difficult as the smoke was logged on the upper floors of the six-storey commercial building, further adding that a major crisis has been averted.
