Raising a stink

Lokhande Road- Since one month, sewage water is flowing on Chembur’s P. L. Lokhande street. This has led to a foul smell in the area causing inconvenience to the residents. Along with this, residents are falling prey to diseases. This area belongs to BMC’s grade four workers who have been residing here for years now. However, residents of building no. 7 are at the suffering end. “We have made innumerable complaints but BMC is doing nothing about it,” complains Vijay Mhaske, a resident.
