Residents fell prey to a rumour that they will get their old notes exchanges at the RBI headquaters on Wednesday morning. A huge crowd gathered expecting that they will get their old notes exchanged.
The deadline for exchanging old notes has already gone, but many people still seem to have such old notes.. As the rumour went viral, people crowded outside RBI HQ office. However, upon enquiring, they realized that it was just a rumour.
