A video has gone viral on social media where a driver can be seen riding an auto-rickshaw on a railway platform. After investigating, the police arrested the driver but it was revealed that the driver was trying to help a pregnant woman reach hospital who was still on the train.
The incident happened on July 27 at Virar railway station. Sagar Gavad, who is from Dongarpada area, rushed with his auto-rickshaw outside the handicapped compartment of the train standing on the railway platform.
While terming it as a violation of the law, the auto driver was arrested by the RPF on Monday. However, the 34-year-old Gavad was released on bail at the request of the pregnant woman's family.

However, the police informed that even though the rickshaw driver displayed compassion, he still risked the lives of the commuters at the railway station. That’s why the auto-rickshaw driver was arrested.
