Sion- Dharavi Sports Association has come forward to save the school grounds. Local corporator Rajshri Shirodkar is trying to build the nana-nani park on these very grounds. In total, there are 8 playgrounds of high schools, some of which are, Gauri Mittal, Sadhna, D S, Our Lady English & Vallabh Sangeet school. To oppose this construction, Dharavi Sports Association has started taking signatures to stall the nana-nani park construction. President of this association Babaji Ghole said that they have given the letter to concerned officials of F-Ward. He also threatened to intensify the protest if construction is not stopped.
