Three persons were killed and another injured in an accident where scaffolding from 16th floor of under construction building collapsed.
The accident took place in Soni Wadi area of Borivali West. A 24-storey building is under construction in this area. Bamboo sheds were built around the building for workers. Around 1 pm suddenly a part of scaffolding collapsed from the 16th floor. Four people were injured.
The injured were admitted to Kandivali Shatabdi Hospital. Doctors said that three of them died before the patient was brought. The deceased have been identified as Manoranjan Samaj (42), Shankar Vaidya (25), Piyush Hardar (38). Sushil Gupta (35) has been seriously injured in this accident.
