After the hoax call incident surrounding bomb blast at Parel station the security at the prominent western railway stations including Elphinstone and Bandra has beefed up.
Sniffer dogs and armed railway police force (RPF) personnel were seen keeping a close watch on the stations.
Police conducted a drive at various stations including Bandra and Palghar on Tuesday. Railway was enquiring every baggage, compartments of mail express and much more.
