Stinker! Sewage water crisis at transit camp

Makhurd- The MMRDA has shifted project affected people (PAP) to Mankhurd’s Lalubhai compound.
However, the over 150 buildings that house these displaced people lack basic facilities. These residents claim that they have to face sewage water problem as well. There is also a police station in the area which faces similar problems. Sewage water gets accumulated in the vicinity of the police station, leading to a stink. Residents have complained to the MMRDA and the BMC, but action is yet to be taken.
