Byculla - School students urged the BMC commissioner, Ajoy Mehta, to return the South Korean Humboldt penguins, which are kept at Byculla zoo. They wrote a letter to the BMC commissioner saying that penguins belong to the Antarctica and they can’t survive in India. These three students are Devangi Seth, a fourth standard student of Asha Nagar Children’s Academy in Kandivli (East), Sharanya Shubhranshu, a fifth standard student of Poddar High School in Santa Cruz (West) and Aditya Vyas, a second standard student of Vibgyor High School in Malad (East). Mehta took the cognizance of the letter and asked the authorities concerned to make students understand the difference between Antarctica penguins and Humboldt penguins and how they can survive in India.
