The water is supplied through Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbra, Diva, Kalwa, Majiwada Manpada and Wagle (some areas) ward committees in Thane Municipal Corporation area.
As urgent repair and maintenance work is being undertaken at the Barvi Water Purification Plant of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Jambhul, water supply will remain disrupted on Thursday. Water supply will remain shut for 24 hours from 12.00 midnight on Thursday, November 02 to 12.00 midnight on Friday, November 03.
During the said shutdown period in all areas under Thane Municipal Corporation, Diva, Mundra (except part of Ward No. 26 and 31) and Kalwa Ward Samiti and Rupadevi Pada in Wagle Ward Samiti, Kisannagar No.2, Nehrunagar and Kolshet Khalcha Village under Manpada Ward Committee. water supply will be completely shut off for 24 hours. Citizens should please note that water supply will be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days after the water supply resumes.
Through the Thane Municipal Corporation, citizens are being appealed to cooperate with the TMC by using water sparingly during the said water reduction period.
