Thane Police have implemented traffic changes from Tuesday, November 7, to carry out the work of the metro station in Manpada area of Ghodbunder. According to this, there will be a ban on traffic on the service road from Manpada to Tattvagyan Vidyapeeth. Due to this, the load of these vehicles is likely to come on the main and alternate roads and increase the congestion. The traffic police have informed that these traffic changes will be applicable on a trial basis for 15 days.
The construction of Wadala-Ghatkopar-Kasarvadavali metro four line is going on in Manpada area on Ghodbunder Marg. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has completed the construction of pillars for the metro line on Ghodbunder Marg. At present 'U' shaped beams are being erected here. Also, the construction of a station in the Manpada area is also going on. The main road is narrow in the Manpada area. Also, the service roads leading from here are also loaded with vehicles.

The traffic police have implemented changes to avoid any accidents and traffic jams during the construction work of the station. These traffic changes have been implemented on a 15-day trial basis. If there are any objections or suggestions from the citizens, the police have appealed to them to send them in written form to the office of Thane Transport Branch at Teen Hath Naka. The police clarified that if there is no objection or suggestion, these traffic changes will be maintained until further orders.
