A woman gave birth outside the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa on Tuesday morning in which she lost her one child and her second baby survived.
A woman living in the Aatkoneshwar Nagar area of Kalwa East was registered at Kalwa Hospital for delivery. Her regular check-ups were going on in this hospital. She came to the hospital around 4 am complaining of stomach pain. However, she was sent home without being admitted to the hospital. After reaching home, she experienced stomach pain again. This time, the family brought her to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Due to the traffic jam, they could not reach the hospital in time, as a result of which, the woman delivered the baby in the vehicle in the premises of the hospital. The first baby didn't survive, however the second child was delivered in the hospital and was safe. The woman's family has alleged that one of their babies died due to the negligence of the hospital administration.
