Mumbai - BJP Mumbai President Ashish Shelar indirectly targeted Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray saying that there are some people who cannot think beyond peg, penguins and parties. He also expressed displeasure over penguin’s death and opined that no one should play politics about it. He was speaking in a press conference, where he presented a review about BJP government.
Shelar said that CM Devendra Fadnavis will bring good days for Mumbaikars. He further added that, he will complete the backlog of development projects which are pending since 60 years. Along with this, we are focusing on making Mumbai a smart city, GST will be beneficial for Mumbai as it will get rid of Octroi, Government is installing WI-FI spots at 500 places.
Shelar also clamied that Mumbai city has developed more under the reign of BJP. “During our last reign, we built 52 fly overs. If that was not done, Mumbai's situation would have been worst,' he said.
"We will begin the work of smart city from November. He also pointed out that this government has given a go ahead for 3 Metro projects in just 60 weeks.We are also trying to build a coastal road and corridors for BEST buses. We will also provide affordable homes to Mumbaikars,” he concluded.
