Byculla zoo which is always swarming with tourists and Mumbaikars, have just one locked toilet, which is causing inconvenience. As summer season has begun, thousands of tourists flock to Byculla zoo to take a glimpse of penguins but due to locked toilet, they face a lot of problems.
There are two toilets, one of which is in the garden and the other one is near garden inspector’s cabin. The one which is near the gate is locked while the other one is under repairs. However, the one toilet which is near the gate is used by security guards but they don't allow tourists to used one.
“I have no idea as to why the toilet is locked. I will investigate the matter and will build more toilets,” said Sanjay Tripathi, director, Byculla Zoo.
